Otherwise, the shoe cabinet will work fine for my purposes. I left the legs off when I first built it, because the whole thing wobbled a lot when I installed the legs. It may have been that the floor just wasn't level where I first put it. My son-in-law moved the show rack to the front hall and installed the legs. He says it is fine with the legs on now. It took two of us about two hours to assemble the whole thing, although one person alone could probably do all but the last bit screwing the tilting shelves in. Just a note—the description says it’s solid wood, but it’s actually dense chipboard (admittedly that’s made from wood, but still…) covered with a white foil or melamine covering.
