Works good and looks nice but it would have helped if the remote control worked. There’s no way to dim the lights without the remote so it is very bright when the room is dark. Update… Contacted the manufacturer directly and they fixed the issue. They were very responsive and sent a free replacement remote control and panel. They guided me through the whole process of pairing the remote and followed through a few days later to see how everything was working. Now it is working 100 perfect!! Absolutely gorgeous 3D fireplace. A few small issues were found, but it’s otherwise a beautiful fireplace! First, it advertises that it puts out 10,000 BTU. It has the capability of doing that but it’s really 5,000 BTU unless it’s modified. That should have been clarified a bit more on the product description. Especially since it’s huge and nearly impossible to return once you’ve opened it up. The other issue I found with it is that the app is only compatible if you have 2.4GHz WiFi…I have a smart home and I use Starlink which is a satellite WiFi. The app will not work whatsoever with Starlink and so I can’t use the app at all to turn my fireplace on and off. It has a remote that comes with it so that’s just kind of a minor issue, but I wish (for the price I paid) it would match the ever evolving technology out there.
