Fantastic value for the money. Love that the fireplace is visible from three sides. Piece is solid and sturdy, took myself and another person about four hours to build ourselves. That was using a drill with Allen wrench bits. Another review said that the strip lighting was a little cheesy and they didn’t bother with it. I agree that it is a bit cheesy and I won’t be using a color, but I did install them just for the warm regular light and I’m glad that I did. First of all I love it! I could not believe though that the shelves were not made of clear glass so the lights illuminate both the top and bottom. So I bought two 11X14 picture frames, cheap at the dollar store, and used just the glass and the frame as shelves. They fit perfectly. I then used one of the wood shelves as a base for my subwoofer. Not bad, build quality could be better. Large pieces came broken the first time, second time was better but there were more chips in the wood veneer that I hid with a wood marker. Used a wood polish for the large slab the tv is sitting on as it was looking dry and lifeless. One of the cabinets isnt aligned properly as there were missing holes for the screws.
