We received our order. It looked on the line like it was a one solid piece of furniture when we got it. It was in a dozen or more pieces. That is not what we thought we were getting. Maybe I didn’t read it. Good enough I don’t know, and I just assume that all of these gas heaters had blowers Did not have one so now I’m stumped. How do I get a blower in that? I purchased this the first one had broken bricks they sent out a replacement one and that one was terrible It had broken bricks and the seal around the door was off . Picture of product is a little deceiving. Pic shows a surround around the fireplace which is not included, instead being a $500 accessory. The 18" set has 5 logs, the 24" set has 6 logs, and the 30" set has 7 logs. Complete kit with a log grate, burner, vermiculite, cinders, embers, and standard connection kit. If ordering LP, a safety pilot valve is included. Remember, your logs are not burning 90% of the time, but they need to look good 100% of the time!

It works fine, but has some serious quality issues. The grate on the top that sits over the coals buckled warped and popped after the first fire. And when my husband was putting it together one of the screw holes wasn’t threaded and he had to finagle it. They offered to send us a new unit but we’d have to dissemble, box and ship the entire thing back. We decided to toss the grate and keep the unit as all the other elements work fine. This unit allows wood framing and can be installed without a surround, finishing material installed right up to the glass for a simplified modern look, or with the durable 3” stainless steel surround. The unit even comes with a stainless steel cover for protection when not in use. Tahoe 45ol comes with a rock and Black Onyx fire glass media, and a stainless steel frame.

We love the look and its heat. Installation was easy. We do find we have a burned off propane smell, but we solved this by having an air purifier next to it, makes us feel its safer that way. The propane industry may tell us all its safe to breathe those off gases, but like now known re natural gas, its better to not have those, so I would always suggest a good gas removing air purifier in the room, just my opinion..
