This is a lovely fireplace, however I really wish the company that makes this would have done a better stone around the fireplace area. It really looks like cheap wallpaper. Also two of the sides were damaged but we are living with it. The delivery man was not very happy when we asked him to get the boxes close to our door, he just slid them to us. The fireplace is smaller than what the pics make it look like, so read the size description. It was underwhelming as is, but I knew what I was getting and had plans to beef it up. It was usable right out of the box, no assembly required. I added a shelf and built a base to make it what I wanted, but needed something small overall to fit the space. It turned out really well.
