It took me three and a half hour to build, granted I was building it alone as a solo female. There was a period where the screws would not screw in to assemble both parts together, it was so frustrating and because of that I was stuck in the same step for over an hour. It must’ve been the manufacturers problem since I was reading the instructions correctly and the screws just won’t go in. This boucle bed is very cute. It looks just like the pictures advertised. The bed feels sturdy and was EXTREMELY easyquick to put together— it maybe took me a little over an hour simply because of the amount of screws you have to install. The color of the boucle is a fabulous off white, and the feet are a complementary darker wood with gold caps. The boucle material is soft, doesn’t look or feel cheap, and is easy to clean with a quick vacuumlint rollspot clean. Logistics-wise, it came in one tall, skinny box that was heavier than I could carry by myself. It wasn’t impossible to shimmy it inside alone, but it’d definitely be safer moving with two people given the size. The ONLY negative about this piece is the height of the headboard. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. First time online bed buyer and super happy with my purchase! In the midst of a bedroom remodel. Got king size in natural, arrived next day, no damage, had all parts, didn't take too long for two people to put together - appx 30 min; however, I think the spacers weren't the correct size because we ended up with two slats that weren't accounted for at the end, but we just respaced slightly and it was fine. I really appreciated the velcro for the slats so they don't move around when spacing - someone thought that through! You will also need a drill to screw in the slats. Headboard and footboard are not completely solid, but sturdy and the height is good for us. Also, purchased the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Mattress and it fit perfectly.
