Love love love these doors. Used them between the master bedroom and master bath. They look great and the frosted glass lets in some light while providing privacy. It was a bit of work for our contractor to set the hardware as the doors are are not prepped for that but we knew that from previous reviews Even with that our local building supply store wanted 3000 for a “custom” door of this design. On the surface this seems like a great deal: Big solid-core doors for less than $1,000 with hardware included. That isn’t a terrible deal at all, but the description of the product and the installation process is very misleading. It implies that this is basically just a disassembled pre-hung door frame that you simply have to reconnect and install, but there’s A LOT more work that needs to be done for it to actually function properly. The doors come without bore holes for the handles and locks and do not have cutouts for the hinges. The instructions (pictures included) are super simple and make it seem like you only need a few basic tools to get the job done. I would up having to buy a lot more tools to complete the project, because I needed to install things like the handles and the locks for the door to work, as I would assume most of us would. It’s also important to check your doors to make sure everything is decent quality. Mine had significant gaps around the glass plate trims that I had to fill and dents from shipping (pictures included). Customer service from the manufacturer is only kind of helpful. While they respond within one business day, they only offered to send me a touch-up kit vs. new doors since they said shipping damage didn’t impact the functionality of the pieces. I wasn't thrilled with this solution since it didn't address the poor packaging. Finally, make sure you’re getting what you ordered. The first time I purchased from this company I bought 10-lite clear glass doors and received one of those and one barn door. They didn’t have any more 10-lite doors in stock, so I had to return the entire order. Overall I’m ok with the finished product, but if I knew that it would take this much time and effort I probably would have spent more money to buy something that was easier to install. I would also recommend to the manufacturer to provide much more detailed instructions so people fully understand what they need to install the doors properly. These doors are SO COOL! We had them installed for our master bedroom doors. They are heavy and have such a unique look to them. We also bought the same doors for our office doors. We love them because you cannot see into the office like our old office doors that had window panes in the doors. Be ready for junky hardware but the doors are nice. Measure ahead of installation as we had to add a 12 board to the top of the closet framing to make them work. Got my own handles as only silver knobs come with the set unlike the picture they show. The mirror is the back on the interior of the door so be mindful if this is going to be heavily used.
