I am using it as an exterior door from a breezeway into my garage. It is perfect to keep the door shut when I have the dog in there with me. It's only 1 3/8 thick and pine, so you are getting what you pay for. I took it to a door shop to have the holes drilled for the lock sets, and for the hinges. Our product package contains only one door slab. Hardware kit, door frame, hinges, etc. are not included. The door panel is FULLY assembled, no need to assemble it again. The door can be painted. Before painting, sand the surface with fine sandpaper of 320 mesh or above, and then paint with water-based paint or lacquer for better adhesion.

The doors were extremely well packaged is such a way as to NOT add a lot of bulk but to protect the doors from the normal shipping damage that can occur. Wood blocking all around to protect edges, extra pad on corners, two layers of foam in front and back (already removed in the picture). High quality doors (as expected).
