This litter box is a great improvement looks wise. It is sleek and modern. However, I haven’t completely set it up yet and will have to do some troubleshooting to finish but I know I will get it figured out. The main reason I wanted a new box is because my setup was really ugly with a black mat full of loose litter the cats track out. I don’t know how effective the new box will be with the added little litter piece that the cats are supposed to walk across to get in and out. I may have to remove that part and put the ugly black mat back down. I am happy with the metal pan because I think it will help control odor better. The box itself is awesome! Stainless steel, so no more trapped odors and scratched up plastic bins. Front and top entries. Removable lid both partially and fully. Sturdy and high quality. Scooper included with a little groove on either side of the box to hang it on. Small litter trapper step that I don't think is beneficial for me because my cat BOLTS out of his box like he's being chased by a wolf! So I used a large litter mat (not that he actually walks out on it, but it might catch a tiny bit of litter while he's storming out lol) So far, my big guy showed no interest in actually using the box. He's a 14 lbs. domestic shorthair, but he's rather long. So the box might be a bit too small and tight for him. I am still hopeful he'd eventually put it to use because I absolutely love this box!.
