First of all I love it! I could not believe though that the shelves were not made of clear glass so the lights illuminate both the top and bottom. So I bought two 11X14 picture frames, cheap at the dollar store, and used just the glass and the frame as shelves. They fit perfectly. I then used one of the wood shelves as a base for my subwoofer. The 270 degree view of this fireplace is really visually appealing. Ambiance is great But, the sides are a little bulky looking on sides behind the glass panel. I feel it would look best as with a recessed mount. Installation as a wall mount is simple! The colors of the flames can be changed and look fantastic hitting the faux crystal placed at the bottom. Heat output is excellent even on low! Although, it is only has high and low as temperatures settings. A remote and everything you need for mounting is included.
