The package is a tall box. If it needs to be transported to upper level or lower level must have help to do so. I just opened the package and took each piece to upper level. The packaging was great. Instructions were clear. Lots of extra pieces of nuts were given. Can’t go wrong anywhere with assembly. Each piece was very well made. There’s hardly any assembly. It probably takes about 30 minutes to 40 minutes maximum. The wood pieces are solid wood. Has very smooth finish. The texture of the finished surface is soft and gives expensive feel. Once assembled one can tell its sturdy construction. We’ve been using it for a month now and no creaking or any noise. Perfect for apartment size bedroom or guest bedroom. Very happy with purchase. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. I really like this bed frame. The headboard adds a fine touch to the bedroom. The wood looks really good. I have some observations with the instruction steps, I think that you should build the square frame first before attach the legs to the wood, because you can put the legs a little bit far form the side of the wood that needs to be attached to the leg. Exceeded my expectations for the price. King size was a fairly easy assembly, 2 persons under an hr. Delivery was quick regardless of the 2 separate boxes arriving within days of each other. Making this bed is easy, our mattress is a Saatva Firm at 14”. Mattress drops nicely and fills the platform leaving a small gap to tuck sheets. Mattresses nowadays are very heavy but this bed allows picking up the corners without throwing out your back. Bed stays in place with no squeaking or cracking sounds. Ours arrived flawlessy. I love this bed. It shipped very fast, arrived in about 5 days. I was nervous because there weren’t any reviews but turned out great. All pieces were free of damage or cracks. I’m really pleased with the quality. It feels VERY solid. No creaks or noises anywhere. Everything fit together perfectly and the instructions were clear. My one and only con is with the panels, the silver bolts kinda stand out and the sticker that it comes with to cover them, doesn’t match the color of the wood- Brown sharpie should do the trick.
