The Gilpin queen bed I purchased was exactly what I was looking for. It looks beautiful in my guest bedroom. I would consider buying other products from this seller.. Cindy. Plainfield, IL. Wed Jul 22 2026

Crafted from solid wood and manufactured wood, this bed is a timeless design with a modern twist. The silhouette balances clean lines with conical posts that add sculptural detail, while the natural and walnut finishes highlight the wood’s rich graining. Designed for transitional spaces that lean both classic and contemporary, this bed becomes a grounding piece in the bedroom—quietly elegant but never boring. With its strong platform frame and no box spring required, it’s equal parts beauty and function. Available in queen and king sizes, it’s built to last and made to be noticed.

We’re slowly updating our bedroom furniture and decided to start with the piece that would make the most impact - the bed! Overall, love it. It’s simple, which is exactly what we were looking for. The way the slats work with the Velcro and screwing directly into the two support beams ensures everything is even and the mattress will be properly supported. The under bed clearance is perfect, just enough to store things but not so high that you can see a bunch of under bed storage bins. The way the side rails connect to the footboard and the headboard is a great idea in theory, but the execution is poor. The metal connectors fit into the slots, but they’re don’t push down and lock in like the directions state they should. We had to get a mallet and really whack it to get all four corners to lock in. Even after the fact, one of them still didn’t lock it super well. So I recommend after you get everything assembled and placed in your room where you want it, get after it with a mallet again on all four corners. Also be sure to cover the bed frame with a towel before using the mallet. A triple folded bath towel was perfect, and left no indents on the bed frame. Overall, I’d buy this bed frame again! It looks fantastic in our room. The thin frame gave us 8” inches back in our room widthwise and lengthwise, the room feels lighter and more open.. Ava Kathryn. Colorado Springs, CO. Sun Aug 09 2026

It LOOKS nice. I like how it looks like real wood with texture. But it does feel inexpensive. I wouldn’t necessarily say flimsy but it’s definitely not a solid wood. It was a VERY easy piece to put together.. Hannah. Fri Aug 28 2026

This bedframe brings a soft, textured look to your main bedroom layout. First time online bed buyer and super happy with my purchase! In the midst of a bedroom remodel. Got king size in natural, arrived next day, no damage, had all parts, didn't take too long for two people to put together - appx 30 min; however, I think the spacers weren't the correct size because we ended up with two slats that weren't accounted for at the end, but we just respaced slightly and it was fine. I really appreciated the velcro for the slats so they don't move around when spacing - someone thought that through! You will also need a drill to screw in the slats. Headboard and footboard are not completely solid, but sturdy and the height is good for us. Also, purchased the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Mattress and it fit perfectly. Happy customer - thanks Wayfair!. Germaine. Dexter, MI. Tue Aug 25 2026

Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A.. This bed frame is sturdy. The base is a bit larger than the bed, but otherwise it is great. Plenty of storage with the drawers beneath it. The LED strip has several colors and a remote. I also love that the headboard is short. My daughters room has sloped ceilings, and this bed fits under it. It’s fantastic!. Amy. Rochester, NY. Sun Oct 18 2026

This platform bed grounds your main bedroom in light, mid-century modern style. It's crafted from solid wood that showcases its natural wood knots and structural character. The clean-lined frame rests on tapered rod legs, while the slatted headboard adds a retro nod and an airy, open feeling. Designed with a low profile, it has a matching footrail that completes the streamlined silhouette. It includes a built-in slat roll mattress foundation, so you can place your mattress directly down without adding extra height.

Took a little while for my husband and brother to assemble, but the results were amazing. This bed was purchased when we set up a green guest bedroom after our youngest daughter moved out post-college. Later, we gave the bed to our eldest daughter to refresh her teal bedroom in her little house ("casita") in southern Texas. She paired the bed with Boho Bouquet bedding -- also a gift from us, purchased on the Wayfair website.. Cheryl. Keller, TX. Mon Aug 03 2026

This panel bed anchors your space with a structured, vintage-inspired layout designed for a restful night. It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, and it rests on center support legs for a balanced foundation. The design features a matching three-panel layout across both the headboard and footboard, enhanced by recessed picture frame moldings for added depth. Subtle wood scoring and rub-through detailing introduce a lived-in, aged character to the clean-lined form.
