We purchased the blue bunks. The color is beautiful for our grandsons big boy room. My husband assembled the beds in 3- 3 12 hours. The parts were labeled and ready to go. We absolutely love these bunk beds! We’ve had them for a couple of years now, and they have held up really well. We especially love how versatile they are. You can easily convert them into two separate beds, and the ability to change the ladder placement has been so convenient as our kids’ room and needs have changed. The drawers underneath have been a total lifesaver for storage, especially in a kids’ room where you can never have enough! And the railing on the top bunk is perfect for our oldest. It gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing she has that extra security while sleeping up top. My only complaint, and the reason I’m knocking off a star, is that for the price, I expected the overall quality and finish to be just a little better. We have some noticeable marks and fading where the drawers open and close, and the wood/finish has dented and gotten marked up fairly easily over the years. It’s not anything that affects the functionality, but for how much these cost, I would expect them to look a little better after normal everyday use. That being said, they are VERY sturdy, and I have never once worried about my kids’ safety while they’re sleeping in them, which honestly, is the most important thing to me. They’ve held up through years of kids climbing, playing, and sleeping in them, and overall we’ve been really happy with them. I just wish the finish was a little more durable for the price!. The base of the bed includes a built-in desk with two storage drawers, and three open shelves for toys, books, and clothes. Four stacked drawers line another side of the bed's frame for extra storage. Included support slats mean no box spring is required for this bed, just a mattress (sold separately). Clean and classic in style, this bed complements nearly any decor.

Boxes are well labeled minus telling you which box the instructions are in. Ours were in the side rail and slats box. Intuitive to put together- we did most of it without instructions simply because we hadn’t found them right away. Unfortunately, the desk draw face was cracked and bent so we will need to repair it. There were also several yellowed/tan spots where the paint either wasn’t mixed properly or stain within the wood came through. I feel confident a coat of white over these spots will cover it. We ordered this for a Christmas present and shipping was way faster than expected so we didn’t open the boxes right away to inspect it. I’d recommend opening it promptly and inspecting it so if there are issues, you can get them replaced. Overall I’m happy with the purchase and I think our child will love it.. Casey. Parker, CO. A must-have for the growing child, this twin size captain bed is great for a little one and has room for a friend to sleep over. The pull-out trundle offers an extra bed while providing much-needed bedroom storage with the lower three drawers. Mission style slats adorn the headboard and footboard to provide a grown-up appeal.

Amazing bed!! Putting it together definitely requires two people but it has very straightforward instructions. At a 140lbs I was able to climb on it and the bed was extremely sturdy. The bed is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. It even came with foam extras to keep kiddos from getting bumps and lights which made a little party underneath and an app to control them!!!
