It’s really pretty! Easy to put together, the top and bottom shelf are solid wood as well as the legs, but not all components are solid wood. Some are compressed fiberboard. I still really like it. I ordered the cream color. What was great: solid and high quality construction, easy assembly, perfect design for my purposes, great delivery. What disappointed: definitely not a cream color. It was hard to capture with my cell phone, but the color is definitely darker than all the pictures online, and it is a decidedly GREEN color, although a very light green. It is also more distressed than the pictures, so it had a tad too much country vibe than I wanted. But, it fits my space and is functioning perfectly to my needs. It is definitely one of the highest quality pieces of furniture I've ever bought online. The drawer hardware is very high quality for an online furniture item. It came halfway assembled, and the drawers were all put together, which is always the hardest part. So I was able to put it together by myself in about 40 minutes. I’m pleased with this purchase. It was a bit challenging to assemble on my own since I have short arms and the front and back of the unit are preinstalled. Also because the particle board in the back was a bit warped it was difficult to get the top to line up when assembling the final bolts. It’s definitely a two person job. But the solid word portion is good quality and I’m pleased the cherry color is a close match to my other furniture. If it’s delivered to your home when you are not there you’ll need a dolly to get it inside. It’s extremely heavy when all packaged together.
