I was looking for something with these exact dimensions and needed a wood tone that would help tie a few different woods together. I am trying to simplify so I didn't want anything with drawers or shelves that would just become a dumping spot. My biggest concern is I couldn't tell from the photos if there was yellow/orange tones in it - so if you are in that same boat... no - its not orange - more of a medium brown stain. First off this is a gorgeous piece and solid wood all the way through the color is a beautiful warm brown. Do pay attention when assembling because I had to undo the side shelves to flip them around again. Some of the pieces are extremely similar. The bottom piece already comes complete so the shelf essentially sits on top of it and I love that it has little feet to prevent it from scratching the floor. I have put several pieces of furniture together before so it's not new to me on how to follow the instructions. In fact the instructions are pretty clear it's just that you have to assemble this unit from scratch. Every piece has to be assembled. The problem is the pegs seem to be too short for the job. I’m really happy with this cabinet. It ended up being one of the easiest pieces of furniture I’ve ever assembled — everything lined up perfectly, and the whole process was surprisingly quick. I bought it for my mom, and it fits her TV perfectly, which was the main goal. I was a little unsure about the plastic design element at first because I worried it might look cheap, but in person it’s much nicer than I expected.
