I selected this particular table because the wood grain was real and not simulated. I was not disappointed! Assembly involved screwing 4 bolts per leg into threaded insert on the underside of the table top. They even provided a hex drive for a cordless screwdriver to expedite assembly. One curious element was how the legs were strapped into the back of the table with staples — which detracted from my perceived vale of the table. Love the solid wood. I chose the smaller size and like that it didn’t take up the entire space in the living room. Only drawback is that the screws for the bottom shelf wouldn’t tighten enough.
