Of course the images from the manufacturer are curated to make items look better than they are, but this is a good solution for spots with limited space. I would have sprung for a pocket door, but there isn't enough space. The powder room previously had a vinyl bifold door which I would keep open for the extra sunlight and fresh air, but it jutted out when open, wasting about 16 inches of space in my bedroom. This is extremely compact when it is closed -- et voila! my room just got bigger! This door plastic, and that is obvious -- the handle is an example of where the looks are lacking, but it's functional, and I can always change the handle. Because the powder room is so tiny, it was a bit claustrophobic with the solid, bi-fold door closed. The lights in the door are also plastic, but they are opaque and completely obscure the view. This door improves the experience of using this 1/2 (possibly 1/4!) bath. Individual hinges are riveted to adjoining panels and contain stops to maintain a uniform extended position. Extruded vinyl seals securely connect all adjoining panels from top to bottom. Nylon wheels suspend doors from an aluminum overhead track. All necessary hardware is included for normal installation. Single door application only.

This door is very pretty. I wanted something to give guests some privacy from the main living area. Took some effort to install. The instructions are not good. The item is advertised to fit openings up to 36”. What it doesn’t say is that it’s adjustable in increments of 5” by removing panels. Our opening was 35 1/2 inches. The only real downsides were the instructions and a couple of small hardware issues. The manual had some of the worst English I’ve ever seen on an instruction sheet — it was genuinely confusing and made installation take longer than it should have. The clamping pins also felt a bit cheap and could have been higher quality, but they’re functional. Overall I’m very happy with the purchase. The doors look great and deliver on style and value. I received one where the material between the accordion slats was slightly warped. It didn’t affect the door’s functionality, but I didn’t notice until after it was installed. Wayfair offered a replacement, but since I had already paid for installation, I accepted a partial refund after sending photos.
