These doors are perfect for our dark hallway. They allow light from the rooms into the hall but they still maintain privacy. If somone is standing right inside the door, you can see a shadow, but not the person. If they anywhere else in the room, they aren't visible at all. The doors are heavy-duty and while the included door handle are ok, we substituted other's to our taste.
