The finished opening width is suggested to be 4 in. smaller than the door width provided and the finished opening height is suggested to be 2 in smaller than the door height provided, please see the Installation Instructions provided under Info and Guides for guidance. Our double barn door unit comes with (2) 36 in. Tracks, (2) 18 in Doors Slabs.

I am giving this five stars because everything came intact. I could see once I get it up it will be exactly what I wanted. However, I was not thinking when I ordered it that my thermostat would be in the way. The reason why I do not have a picture of it fully up yet is because now I have to figure out how to bring it out at least by 2 inches so when the door slides back it will not interfere with the thermostat. I will update my review as soon as I can figure out I'm thinking about getting a 2x4 board to go across my wall and then I think I could attach everything else. I’m super impressed with this sliding closet door kit. It arrived well packaged and was easy to unpack, without a lot of extra materials, and even though the instructions weren’t fantastic, they were easy enough to follow just looking at the parts and intuitively figuring out where everything needed to go. It took my husband and I about an hour and a half to install it, but that was because our opening was not exactly the same size as the doors and the track. I had to cut an inch off of each side of the track and an about a third of an inch off the bottom of each door to make them fit, but that was no problem. It was pretty easy to do, so even though it says that the doors are not trimmable we were able to get about a third of an inch off as the frame is a pine frame so as long as you don’t try to take too much off it seemed workable for us. Ordered (3) 30"x80" of these hollow core doors, went through 3 replacements because they kept getting damaged in transit, these are the one that were delivered as good, still had to patch them with wood filler, sand and paint. They only arrive wrapped in plastic, suggestions to the manufacturer at least use cardboard for protection of the delicate hollow core doors. Door does fit opening as advertised. I subtracted a star due to the wood being fragile. During install we cracked and dented it quite a bit on the bottom. We were very careful but it still kept happening. Thankfully it is at the bottom and most people won’t notice. I suggest wrapping bottom in rags or something while you are installing and when it’s setting on the floor and you are screwing parts into it. The store is gorgeous and will be a great addition for our new remodel. It was easy to put together and probably just took about 20 minutes. I am super happy with this door. It came with the door jam, which went up easily and fit as expected. The door is solid, but it’s not super heavy so it’s easy to move. Ordered this door for a bedroom, fits pretty good. When the door arrived it had a little damage but decided to keep it and repair damage. We didn't paint it before it was hung.
