I just received this headboard, and it is very pretty. The velvet is a nice material. I have not set it up with my bed yet, so I cannot comment on assembly or the finished look. Unfortunately, Wayfair sent me a coupon to "come back" since I hadn't made a purchase in a while, but the coupon would not work. The error stated that the coupon was for new customers only - which was in contradiction to the description on the coupon. I contacted Wayfair for support, but have not received a reply. It has been over a week. Since my order was $500 in total, I am extremely disappointed in the customer service in this regard, as the coupon would make a large difference.

I highly recommend this headboard and assembly is relatively easy except that step 2 of the instructions shows the front of the headboard matched up with the rear of the legs. If assembling that way you will end up with screw holes showing. It’s a simple matter of being sure to match the rear side of the headboard with the rear side of the legs. The main reason I bought the Brixton headboard is it’s supposed to be “solid wood.” I despise particle board and these days am seeing “manufactured wood” descriptions which is probably another way of saying the same thing. A usual giveaway is that particle board is heavier than many woods. But this headboard appears to be all wood or a combination of wood and plywood which may be necessary to create the raised panels without making the cost considerably higher. And plywood is much better than particleboard.

I love this headboard in the guest room. It looks far more luxurious and expensive than $162.00. The eggshell color is exactly what I wanted and expected it to be, not white, not tan. It came wrapped in a cloth bag, not plastic and was very clean, however the silica beads in the torn bag were loose everywhere in the box. There was no odor to the headboard at all. You must look at the legs in the plastic wrap first to determine left from right, as once they are out, you have to rely on the written directions which are a bit confusing. The main point to stress is that this headboard is made to fit a QUEEN size bed; and as mine is a full, there is much space on either side which I had to camouflage with a comforter. I do NOT recommend this for a full size bed for that reason. The designers need to stop doing it this way! It was challenging to put it together as the drawings do not correctly depict the actual cut outs in the legs. It tells you place screws from front to rear, however, if you drop the nut, it falls into a place that is hard to retrieve if the other leg is on. I used a pencil with tape to get it out. Also the nut pulled through the slot, so I reversed the direction of each bolt and nut, which made a firm attachment. All in all, for the price it is a steal....I love it with my new tables and my furnishings.

Brand: Albee Upholstered Panel Headboard--Latitude Run PN#LATR7712. We received the "greyish beige" cloth covered headboards, and were pleasantly surprised at the "quality". The wood legs of the headboard attached to the frame real easily. One is allowed to to "adjust" to any height required, which made our job easier. The stainless steal "studding" is "quality & beautiful". (The studding does "not" look cheap at all.) A little Tip: Take the cardboard (which comes with the screws in a bag) and "place the cardboard" Underneath the leg & on the floor). This gives you "enough" space clearance so the "leg" does "not" scratch your wood floor. It is also helpful to have a "second" person holding the headboard on the piece of cardboard, while the other person is screwing in the bolts onto the frame. We LOVE the "rich" look of these headboards (we bought two headboards). They "actually" look MORE expensive than they really were. Keep up the "quality", "Price", and "ease of assembly". They Are Beautiful &, We Are Happy!

Firstly it was a great value. Would buy it again. This headboard had a few stitches that were out of place and I was afraid to cut them in case it unraveled things. It also had some thing poking out from the cushion that might be uncomfortable if somebody leaned up against it, which they probably shouldn’t as this isn’t very sturdy. It is made in Malaysia, not China. It can be as high as what I have in my pictures or you can assemble it the way the direction show which might make it more stable but would be lower. I have used the top two holes to make it as tall as possible which meets the mattress without a gap and is 45 inches tall from the floor. It comes with bolts, Washers, nuts and the appropriate Allen wrench however would suggest you also have a regular wrench or pliers to hold the nut while screwing in the bolts and maybe a level in addition.

Product was exactly what my daughter needed last minute for her dorm room to fill a gap behind her bed. It was a great price compared to anything else out there like it. Was less expensive even than those pillows you can buy to wedge in between the bed and wall. We ordered the warm gray which was a lighter gray. My daughter is very happy with it. It is very light and easy to put together by herself. We used zip ties and the wood was strong enough to hold to her bed. I would purchase again and recommend

We got this to put along the side of my daughter's bed because she moves a lot in her sleep and way constantly banging some part of her body against the wall. I was very impressed by how easy it was to out together. In fact, my (very small for their age) 7 and 10 year old girls pretty much assembled it themselves. It is lightweight enough that the two of them also carried it into the bedroom without assistance from me. I would like for there to be a bit more padding but for the price I'm very happy with it. There was no damage to the product, which I was concerned about because I read several reviews before purchasing it that showed damage. If you look at my photo there does appear to be a large spot on the upholstery but that is a reflection from a mirror on the wall, not a stain. My daughter loves it, I love the price and that it is lightweight and was simple to assemble. For an adult piece of furniture I feel like it is less than what many people would expect, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a heavyweight, sturdy piece of furniture.

SUPER happy with this headboard. We got the king size. It's very strong and sturdy. I'm a 63-year-old woman and it took me about a half hour to assemble. Needed hubby's help to move the bed away from the wall and then it took the two of us another 20 min's to attach to our bedframe. Didn't need a plate as the headboard fit our bedframe's holes just fine. My only complaint is that you can see where the top piece and bottom piece attach at the sides, but it doesn't really bother me. My advice is to put some WD-40 or similar to the bottom pieces before pushing the top piece on. We did have a little difficulty with this. Note how the product photo has 4 spaces in the middle, but the king-size has 6. I love that!

Beware - The Ivorywhite color option is extremely YELLOW! It is a lot more yellow in person that the image I posted or the one on Wayfair. I wouldn’t consider it ivory either. In person, it looks like it used to be white but sat around for years and turned into that dingy yellow. My husband remarked that it looks like “ring around the collar” color. We have tried it in different lighting as well. It does however, appear to be well made it is soft to the touch with nice lines...but the color on the website is way off. The color is so bad I need to exchange it for something else. If you are going for one of the other color options you may have better luck. If the color wasn’t so off I would have given it five stars for the quality, design, aesthetic, easy assembly and minimal packaging.

If I were to rate this headboard simply on looks and overall aesthetics, I would give it 55. It’s beautiful and looks fantastic. We ordered a beige queen size and despite the appearance in the pics, it’s true to colour and works well with our decor. I gave it a 4 star review because of the bracket fixtures and bolts. I had read the reviews beforehand and anticipated this issue and decided to order anyway and take a gamble. I’d STILL order this headboard. That said, it lost a star because what should’ve been a quick setup turned into a headache for my husband. I read all the dimensions and double checked them with our bed’s measurements. We have a standard queen on a standard bed frame. The bolts didn’t fit. They didn’t fit the headboard or the bed frame! Luckily we had some extras sitting around from somethings else. Even with the mounting brackets, the attachment site is higher than our frame so when attached, the wheels of our frame near the headrest don’t touch the floor. We’re going to have to fiddle around with it a little more. Beautiful product. A little frustrating for installing. If you’re thinking about buying, be prepared to buy extra bolts.

I got the headboard in the gray color. It looks very nice and it’s not too heavy. You have to assemble this headboard. I thought parts were missing but all of the parts are hidden inside the back covering of the headboard which is closed with velcro. You can use that compartment to hide stuff afterwards. Nobody will know what’s inside your headboard. When you put the headboard together, do not tighten all of the screws until the very end. We did run into a slight problem with the cross bar fitting. Another problem for me was that the headboard wasn’t tall enough. (The photo on the website makes the headboard look tall.) I have eleven foot ceilings and both a box spring and mattress on my bed. The headboard almost disappeared when I made the bed, so I added six inch couch risers to the bottom of the headboard to raise it. If you have a mattress only on your bed frame, it might work right out of the box for you. In addition, because of my baseboard molding, I added a cushion support at the top back of the headboard to keep it stable and from leaning on the wall. The cushions stick on to the back of the headboard and are adjustable to the depth you need. You can also attach the headboard to your bed frame for stability but I did not attach the headboard to the bed frame in case I decide to change it out for a different one. (But if you decide to change it out for a new one, don’t forget you hid something in there). Also, you should wait for a holiday sale, like Labor Day or Black Friday because the headboard will be reduced in price. They won’t give you an adjustment even if you just bought it. You will have to return it and buy it again to get the sale price.

Overall quite happy with this item. I love the look, the color is as pictured, and it was a reasonable price. I have had the same metal bed frame with wooden slats for years and decided to purchase this headboard to update a guest room. The frame easily connected to the headboard without issue. I love that the height of the headboard is adjustable, took me a few tries to find the right level. I didn’t want any gaps between the mattress, but it’s very easy to adjust. Packaging of the item was efficient and well done. Great! I was able to put it together easily with the instructions provided myself. Granted, you may have some leftover screws -depending on whether you need the large or smaller size to use for connecting the base legs of the headboard to your frame. I used two of the large and two of the small screws and had two of each left over. It wasn’t evident that you didn’t need to use all the hardware in the instructions, but once you put it together you figure it out. I also reversed the connection of the screws (as indicated in the directions) by facing them inward toward the frame rather than outward toward the wall. I think a few other reviews mention this as well. I personally wanted to avoid any possibility of the screws sticking out and damaging my walls.

This seems to be a very well-constructed headboard, and the padding is quite comfortable (I'm planning to be nursing in bed in the next month or so, so I've been very picky). I like the fact that the uprights to attach the headboard to the bedframe are metal, and that you can adjust the height of the headboard relative to your mattress and the bedframe quite easily. It took a bit of muscle to get the holes in the uprights to line up with the holes in the headboard, but with two people, we were able to do so successfully. I don't know if I would have been able to do it myself, but perhaps it would have been easier if we had left it on the floor to assemble that part, instead of attaching it to the frame and then trying to put on the headboard. (I wanted to make sure it was the right height...) The other thing to note: the uprights (legs) for the headboard are in a "super secret" compartment on the back of the headboard. We initially thought that the package had come without the uprights, and once customer service directed us where to look, it's actually fairly well-labeled, but I wanted to point it out here so no one else had to be surprised. To my knowledge, the instructions are not very clear on the location of the uprights, although my dad was in-charge of reading them, so it's possible he just missed it.

OK, what a great deal on this. The white is a little too white for me, but it is hardly visible so what the heck. The quality is not the best, the faux leather looks cheap, but you get what you pay for. I figure I could always recover it easy enough if need be. Installed without a hitch, installing the extra hardware needed for my adjustable bed to accommodate headboard took most of the hour it took for my son get it finished. It is a little wobbly, but I think that just how it needs to be attached to an adjustable bed. Up against the wall it is fine, all and all happy with this purchase.

I purchased the Corneau Upholstered Panel Headboard - 2 Queen(s) - Black & White for my guest bedrooms. The price was great and delivery was good. The boxes weren't heavy to maneuver/carry to the rooms. I'm a woman, barely 5' and not muscular. I open the boxes and everything was there (headboard, legs, screw, screwdrivers). They are beautiful and the touch is very nice. I did get a small order (chemical/factory) but that went away in a day or two. Set up was very simple. I like the fact that I can lower or raise the headboard and do the same for the legs against the frame. I have 2 different height Queen mattresses and the headboard fit was perfect for both. It came with several screw/bolt pieces to attached it to the frame so that worked very well. Overall, I really like these headboards and gave it 5 stars. Very good purchase and I would buy them again.

We upgraded from a queen size bed to a king size and have gone several years without a headboard/footboard. The wood on our bedroom set is a light ash pine wood so it was near impossible to match up and the manufacturer doesn’t carry parts for it anymore as it’s a 20 year old bedroom set. The mice thing about it though is that it has wrought iron touches throughout the set, the mirror on the dresser, all of the hardware on it is wrought iron so someone told me to look for something that would compliment the wrought iron. I’ve searched for about 2 years for one with great reviews at a good price and I finally found it at Wayfair!! This headboard was so easy to put together and on the frame. My frame is on risers so we had to lift the mattress and box springs off to put the headboard on but even with all that it still only took about an hour to put it on and completely remake the bed etc. it is lightweight but looks like a very high end wrought iron headboard. I’ve seen some similar to this that cost close to $1200 and I got this one on sale for $234! I absolutely couldn’t pass it up and so happy that I didn’t. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to for this headboard. If you’re skeptical or on the fence about it (I was very skeptical with buying a headboard online and not being able to see or feel the quality) just buy it! It’s worth the price and much more! I would expect this headboard to cost at least $700 if I saw it on a furniture store showroom. The feel of it is a black matte and looks just like the wrought iron in the rear of my bedroom set! Read some of the other reviews... they are right. There is no sounds you would typically expect from A metal bed, it’s quiet and just beautiful. If I have any issues with it, Wayfair also offers a wonderful 5 year warranty (extra cost) and I did purchase it but with the quality of this headboard, I don’t think I’ll have to use it. I’ve only been using it for 2 nights now so if there are any changes over the next month I will update my review. I’m just very happy with my purchase and how it looks and the ease of installing it. Thanks Wayfair for a great product!
