This headboard is very nice and looks expensive. It makes the room look great. The fabric is nice and soft. The color is great and as described. The only issue is the way to mount it was not easy and we ended up just having to press it up against the wall and use dry wall screws. It would not fit into our king size tempurperic bed frame. We have not had issues before with previous headboards so this was annoying. It ended up working out the way we did it but still frustrating. I do appreciate that it’s wood though and not metal. I really wanted to give this headboard 5 stars. Many pros for this item- aesthetically attractive finish and design. And fantastic price. I was able to put it together myself in about 1 12 hours (I’m a 61 year old female and have grip issues with my hands). Where the where the problem began was with installation. My husband and I were able to mount it without much of an issue. But with the king size there really should have been a third area of attachment to the frame directly in the center because when you lean back against it- it moves and feels less sturdy.
