You get what you pay for. It’s obviously cheap and a couple bumps putting it together. Took my husband I about 2 hours. Only had to undo and redo one part because we weren’t paying close enough attention. Cracked one molding from hammering a peg in. That was a bummer. If allowed, I would give this a “0.” The date of when this was delivered changed which caused us to have to reschedule the assembly of the product. Then, it was delivered on the original date. This product is very cheaply made. The assembly guy did not tell us that it would fall apart as soon as we touched it, but it did - the top came right off in our hands, causing the sliding doors to fall as well. The back piece was so thin, the assembler tore it and also couldn’t get all the nails where they belonged. I was on the phone a half day trying to resolve how to get this returned, our money back, not having to pay for the return shipping, and to be reimbursed for the assembly - none of which has been done yet. I was a little worried when my package arrived as the box had some damage to it, but thankfully my headboard didn't. It can stand alone on it's own or attach to a bedframe. It is heavy enough to just stand on it's own, but I put bolts in mine, that didn't come with it, and mounted it to my frame. It does match the online description of it and its pictures very well.
