This headboard is absolutely beautiful. I ordered the barnwood finish for the bed in my guestroom. There are a couple of areas along the edges/seams where the finish is not uniform, but the "flaws" are not really noticeable unless one goes looking for them. My husband assembled the headboard by himself. He said he had some difficulty with one side where the hole did not line up perfectly with our frame. Bought the king size in light brown about six months ago for our place in Rhode Island, and it completely transformed the room. This upholstered headboard is ok. But not really as pictured. There are no buttons. Just indentations where buttons would go. It comes folded in half, so there is a huge crease down the middle. I left it out in the sun laying flat on a hammock and that straightened it out. The headboard is lower than what I hoped. And it’s not as thick as it looked in the picture.
