Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it does take some time, but I chose to build it in sections over two days, which made the process very manageable. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value. It completely changed the look and feel of my daughters room and gives her a fun, cozy setup that she genuinely enjoys. I don’t have a picture showing the bookcase side headboard, but it’s very nice. The base has so much storage and the whole thing is sturdy. This is my daughter’s tiny college bedroom so storage was important! It took a Wayfair professional assembler over 4 hours to put it together, and she did a fantastic job. The only complaint is FedEx which lostmisplaced all my orders and they were awful about accountability. I went to the service center and after 2 hours of searching, we found my orders and they put them in my car. It was in 2 boxes and weighed a ton. We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. I love this bed! I was about as nervous as anyone would be when ordering a product without reviews, however I'm glad that I took a chance on this. The frame is sturdy and the headboard doesn't move, creak, or bang the wall. Weight limit feels legit, and the shelving is a nice storage option to have. I will say that while the instructions are clear, we went well over 40 minutes with two of us on assembly, but maybe we New Yorkers are dense lol. All pieces were accounted for and there was no warping or bends in any of the pieces. Sidenote: I decided to keep my boxspring and mattress combo so my pillows do come up very close to the bottom shelves. Decision was based on my mattress being a fairly standard full and not a tall, so it was very low below the headboard without the boxspring. Something to consider when weighing in on purchasing.
