I love this bed. I assembled it by myself, which can be done but it takes longer, 3 12 hours for me There is a section in the manual that require 2 people but I couldnt wait. The manual was easy for me to read but just make sure you assemble everything properly as I had to redo a part because I didnt have the screws lined up. The structure is mostly metal and the headboard you have to assemble as well as the sides and there is 1 footboard. I put my box spring on but it doesnt require it I just like the height. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend.
