I received these stools through Wayfair’s tride and true program. Overall, I am very happy and would probably purchase them even for the current retail price (on sale for 183.99) They are even more pretty in person. The walnut wood back shell is gorgeous and so much more rich in person. The photos online show an almost dark espresso brown wood but it is a walnut. The marks on the leather are also different in person, with slightly more lightdark spots and less marbling looking spots like the listing photos. I prefer the in-person leather. The cushion underneath sounds cheap (you can hear the air compressing and some cracking like a cheap foam) but I don’t even care because they are comfy! They were also super easy to put together. I only had one issue with a back brace not aligning with the hole but I took it out and re-tried and it aligned itself. Overall, very happy and super excited to bring these over to my new place.. Im really happy with these stools. Theyre comfy, and the seat has good padding for longer sitting. Assembly was very easy, and I especially appreciate how the assembly stickers are placed so theyre hidden once the chair is fully put together. The weight capacity is solid, and they feel sturdy and well built. The walnut-look wood and black seat look great with my setup. My only gripe is the height. Even though these are listed as bar height, the seat sits at 26 tall, which is shorter than most bar height stools. Its not a dealbreaker for me since Im on the taller side and can still reach the bar comfortably, but its something to consider before buying. Measure your bar first! I am so happy with these beautiful counter stools. The material and color of the fabric go with any space and the wood color is a perfect neutral shade. They were quick and easy to assemble. Highly reccomend these beautiful stools.. Jaymi. Wiscasset, ME. Mon Jan 05 2026
