This King White Velvet padded bed frame is gorgeous. The fabric is so soft to the touch. Very sleek looking. Directions were step by step and easy to follow along. Took me and my son about an hour and a half to put together, so it wasnt that bad. The wooden slates for the bed support came attached and you just spread out which is amazing they didnt come individually like some beds. No need for box springs as this is a platform bed but I prefer my beds to be higher so we used previous box springs as pictured in the height the bed would be. This bed is very well made. I had my reservations and took me weeks to pick out a bed. I definitely made the right decision with this bed. The instructions were easy to follow, my dad helped took us about 30 mins. It does not make any noises and my Saatva 14.5 king size mattress that weighs a ton fits perfectly.
