For reference I am 5’2 and it’s a good size for me in my room I have a lot of things I’m going to fill it with and my stool is very wide so eventually I will probably opt for a less wide chair. Beautiful vanity!!! 2 NEGATIVES: 1. the lights on the mirror aren’t very strong. Luckily where I moved it to has great natural light. 2. There are two cords for this vanity. One for the actual vanity and one for the mirror. I don’t feel like the photos accurately showed how the cord to the mirror looked. It is very visible and I feel like it should have had a slot to put the cord through the vanity. Maybe they did this so if you don’t want to use the mirror you could convert it to a desk or something but I had to wrap the cord for it to look better and prevent my cat from chewing. I didn’t lower my rating because this is One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made. It really elevates the room. I love putting on my makeup at it. Was worried about the color being too brown with my black furniture and it isn’t. It also came almost completely assembled which was shocking. Unboxing took 3 times longer than putting it together. This dresser is exactly what I needed; it's just the right size and the design is very clean and fits right in with my turntable setup. The design is very clean and I love how the drawers are flush with the walls and the handles are very discreet. The delivery was very quick, and my package arrived safely after only 3 days from ordering. This was my first time ever buying and assembling a new piece of furniture, and I did it all solo, so putting everything together was definitely a challenge. Although it took much longer than it should have (having 2 people really helps if you’re considering building this on your own), but it was enjoyable. The materials used are somewhat questionable, but it seems to be holding up quite well so far. I didn’t have any alignment issues with the rails, but the cabinet door was a bit of an issue until I remembered the instructions show how to adjust it in the last page. I noticed the drawers weren’t moving smoothly at certain points, so I realized the screws that hold the rails on the dresser walls needed to be fully flush to avoid any sticking issues. Do I love it Yes! I show it to everyone. The sliding shelf is a genius design. Did assembling this take a small toll on my mental state Yes… it took forever. I initially attached the some of the parts the wrong way, which i didn’t know until it came to a point where i had to disassemble and redo. I also ended up putting the shelves in upside down. But, never fear… I placed some contact paper on them so you can’t tell. I gave it four stars because the light in the mirror is not very bright. Lots of storage space. Nice addition and very functional… spacious drawers and a cabinet with shelves. In hindsight I would have chosen a different vanity. I allowed the “original price” to make me think this was a superior quality vanity. However, I might choose it again for one of my granddaughter’s.
