Open-Frame Queen Size Beds

This platform bed updates your home with a vintage-inspired look that blends seamlessly into any traditional or farmhouse setup. Constructed from steel, it features a slatted headboard and footboard that introduce an airy, open profile to your arrangement. Center support legs work alongside the perimeter frame to deliver a stable sleeping foundation that handles everyday use smoothly. Because the system includes its own steel slats, your mattress rests directly on the base to simplify your setup. Plus, it features an adjustable headboard height so you can easily customize the clearance to suit your specific mattress thickness.

The bed frame is simple but quite pretty and sturdy. The low profile footboard doesn’t cut into a small room - helps to keep it open. And there are two height choices. The taller choice allows for a nice space underneath for storage. The only thing I worry about is the plastic spacers that keep the crossbars for the platform in place. If a person needed to take the bed apart for any reason, I would worry that those spacers would wear out.. Michele. Harlingen, TX. Thu May 14 2026

This platform bed frame delivers a minimalist look in your space with its clean-lined silhouette and integrated headboard. It’s crafted with a metal frame, providing a stable foundation for your mattress without needing a box spring. So far loving this bed frame! It’s very easy to put together. You only need the Allen key wrench that’s included. We wanted a higher bed to be able to have space for under bed storage in our small apartment. Our mattress is a 10” so it does cover the head board a little than I wanted but overall still happy! It’s sturdy and the height gives ample storage room.. Sarah. Nyc. Wed Oct 07 2026

Good materials and overall sturdy but it’s not easy to put together. You pretty much NEED a drill and two people. The center supporting legs do not all reach the floor so sitting down on it can cause noise. The frame is also bigger than a queen size mattress so there will definitely be a gap on one end.. The curved headboard and footboard offer a classic, safe aesthetic, while the 12-inch clearance height allows for easy storage underneath, helping keep your room tidy.

Our beautiful cats taught me that upholstered headboards are just a canvas for their kitty claws to destroy. As such, I had to find a replacement that the smallest members of our family won't take as an open challenge. I've always loved metal bedframes for their simplicity and timelessness. This bedframe provided the perfect economical solution to our in house designer (destructor) problem. Bonus: it looks far more expensive than it is. It went together quickly (I built it by myself in less than an hour), the instructions were clear, and so far no squeaking. I'll report back should that change over time.. Michelle. Edison, NJ. Give your bedroom a fresh upgrade with our mortise‑and‑tenon platform bed frame. Blending traditional joinery with modern minimalism, it suits urban apartments and small bedrooms. Featuring flexible‑mount under‑bed storage drawers for extra linen storage, this stable frame supports quick tool‑free assembly and low‑maintenance everyday comfort.

This is definitely a minimal bed. I like that it has drawers but I would’ve preferred to have 4 drawers instead of just 2. I also do not care for how the wood sticks out over the edge of the platform. While the mattress covers most of it the thought of scratching myself with it doesn’t thrill me. The look is ok. The assembly poses a bit of a problem because the wood has to be so tightly joined and one piece was difficult to line up it posed a very frustrating assembly. The bed reminds me of an ark. Ch.
