The vanity is very very beautiful just as I suspected. It is solid wood. It came with the drawers already put together. The only thing you had to do was screw the legs onto it. The screws were already in the legs so all you had to do was twist them on. This was a very fine piece of work and will last a very long time as long as you take care of it. Beautiful vanity!!! 2 NEGATIVES: 1. the lights on the mirror aren’t very strong. Luckily where I moved it to has great natural light. 2. There are two cords for this vanity. One for the actual vanity and one for the mirror. I don’t feel like the photos accurately showed how the cord to the mirror looked. It is very visible and I feel like it should have had a slot to put the cord through the vanity. Maybe they did this so if you don’t want to use the mirror you could convert it to a desk or something but I had to wrap the cord for it to look better and prevent my cat from chewing. I didn’t lower my rating because this is One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made. It really elevates the room. I love putting on my makeup at it. Was worried about the color being too brown with my black furniture and it isn’t. It also came almost completely assembled which was shocking. Unboxing took 3 times longer than putting it together. The vanity arrived exactly when we were told it would. The FedEx guy was awesome. He was kind enough to bring the box inside the house and leave it in a place where I did not have to move it. No damage at all. The contents of the box were great. The vanity is actually made of a vinyl wrapped particle board. Not the highest quality material. But, for the price, it was nice. The assembly was not difficult. I was able to get the whole thing done in a little over 4 hours, but I did stop for dinner! The finished product looks great. I am pleased with the fit and finish. Love it! It is so cute. They have since changed the product photos but when I bought it, it was advertised with drop loop pulls and it came with knobs instead. It still looks pretty. The seat looks more of a tannish color than the photos (which looks more white). Neither of these are big issues. My only complaint is that the mirror is too short to be actually useful. If you use it you have to hunch over. I still really like it as a minimal makeup table. I am throwing away any makeup that doesn't fit in here to have a more minimal life.
