This bed is absolutely stunning. It’s so beautiful that I’m now planning to overhaul my entire bedroom just to make the rest of the room live up to it! It is incredibly sturdy, well designed, and definitely a focal piece. I absolutely love it.
My one caution is to pay close attention to the color. I was expecting a darker wood, but in person it’s more of a washed brown that can sometimes read slightly gray. Interestingly, it photographs differently depending on the lighting and can look much redder in photos than it actually is. I included a close-up to hopefully give a better sense of the true color. The burl wood pattern also has beautiful variations between light and dark, and since no two beds are exactly alike, yours may vary somewhat as well.
Also, this bed is HEAVY. It arrived in three boxes, and I paid for professional assembly through Wayfair, which I’m very glad I did. I would definitely recommend having two people available to lift and assemble it.
