As I was unpacking it, I was surprised at how well made it was. It is a very heavy chair. The seating and backing areas are very thick, and the material is exceptionally soft, with a light texture. Like a teddy velvet. It was also very easy to assemble and the directions were very clear. Just had to put the legs on and the support bar, and that was it. Once assembled, it was nice to find that it swivels. Now on to using it. My husband is using it as a desk chair on a tall desk. It is very comfortable, especially when sitting on it for hours. Good NESS! I am all over the place on this review. Let me start by saying that I love the look of this stool. It’s classy and feels very sturdy. It arrived with some pieces already assembled which doesn’t happen that often. It really only should have taken about 8 minutes to assemble, BUT…the screws were very hard to put in, particularly into the wooden back. I was only able to get 2 of 3 fully screwed in, even with a power screwdriver. Then, when screwing the footrest on, the hole is on the backside and it’s like playing Pin the Tail on the Donkey to find the screwhole. But, eventually, I got them all in. Then, the chair was very uneven. We finally saw that one of the end caps on the legs was upside down and that was an easy fix. (This was one of pieces that came already assembled).
