Great value and quality. We looked for barstools for the longest time and couldn’t wait any longer, so we decided to get these because they were priced so well. We don’t like the orangey woods in our home, so we’re very picky on wood tones elsewhere until we can change that. We prefer a deep, rich wood that has a very slight red undertone but not to the point of looking cheap or too purpled. I’d describe it as a merlot. These aren’t perfect but are close and you can’t tell from afar. They’re just a bit too lightbrown for us especially with sunlight on them. I included pics in different lighting for reference as color can vary quite a bit. Most of the time these look like the darker pic and we decided that when they don’t, we can deal with that at this price for now. Very sturdy, solid wood. Comfy, perfect height. The wooden buttons that cover the screws don’t stay in place - they pop right out. You could glue them, but you wouldn’t be able to adjust the legs in the future as they settle. Not very noticeable without them but it is one flaw to consider. The foam foot pads also stick to wood floors after cleaning, so I’d recommend using your own. Great overall.. Ashleigh. Negatives: Stain penetration was uneven as is the case for many of the woods used for products like this. The foot guards are an ugly green/gold color. We Love the way way these look, and they are sturdy! We noticed that there was a small defect near the top of one of the stool, and Wayfair immediately set us another part without any hitch. The new part was perfect and replacement was easy. The best part was Wayfair didnt waste our time and energy trying to figure out how to mail this heavy wooden defected part back, so all was made right quickly. The chairs arrived by the expected dated, well packed and easy to assemble. No extra tools are needed to assemble. The chair rotates 360 degrees and is adjustable which was my main reason for purchasing this style. The stool is sturdy, looks nice, and not oversize for under the counter storage. My only complaint is the seat is not as comfortable as I would like, perhaps if it were made slightly larger or have contour to the wood. Overall I'm happy with my purchase..
