For now, you have me telling you, that if you are buying this for the Dodge Kitchen Island, and especially if you are putting the wheels on that island which puts the counter at 38" high, consider buying the 30" inch stools, Ok? The Mahogany stools are not as dark as the counter top, but the black would not have matched either, soooo . . . it is what it is; we still love them because they are GORGEOUS !! Cute counter chairs! Only had them a few days but -So far so good. Had to do some adjustments to make legs all even but felt pads on the bottom was an easy fix. Love the design of this chair! The 25" height, the width of the seat and back are perfect! You will need a phillips screw driver and a hex key screw driver for better control when assembling chairs. Took me about 35 minutes each chair to assemble. Also I recommend purchasing chair leg caps to protect your floors as the wooden legs will sit directly on the floor and will wear down with regular use. I am currently redecorating my family room and kitchen. The black did not work with my design. No problem. repainted the chairs a copper brown. Uses 1 can of spray paint for each chair. I reapholstered the seats in fabric heritage house windsong pattern to match my window valances and receive nothing but compliments! Posted pictures of the before and after.
