These are the most comfortable barstools I have ever sat in. The one is facing the living room because I just sit on it and watch TV sometimes. It is surprisingly comfortable with padded seat and back. The seat is deep enough to support the thighs of a 5’6” person but might not be as comfortable for someone with long legs.
