When they say that this is truly quiet it is kinda is but on highest setting its LOUD.... it really gets up the smells very powerful beautiful looking. Heres a picture of it install but as you see we are still an active construction site with some updates and things taken care of and of course we left the protection coating on it. Well I have it out of the box the reason for this purchase was I have tall ceilings and I needed a exhaust fan that I didn’t have to figure out how to get additional pieces or have to build down from the ceiling to close the gap. This fan assembly fit that bill it’s also a rental property and so I didn’t want a glass unit even though I have one like that and like it a lot this unit is more “renter friendly” and safe no ones going to break it.. Great product. Great ventilation, the only thing is some of the instructions did not match the product. So a little confusing on installation. Instructions showed a lever for outdoor or indoor ventilation. This motor did not have this lever. And white protective film is hard to take off. I suggest removing before installing.. Tamera. US. We really needed this SNDOAS convertible wall mount range hood for our mid-century home kitchen. As you can see in the last photo, that is the hood we presently have. Needless to say, we are not fond of the looks AND it barely catches the smoke of the food we cook. We can’t wait to get the new hood up. We are waiting for our HVAC contractor to come out to install it. When it is up, I will post before and after pictures of it. I only gave it 4 stars, because I love the look, but I don’t know if it works well yet. I will upgrade the stars if the pull is good. Update We had the contractor install our range hood. It is so pretty, and it works great. We like the fan—it works so much better than our old one. I upgraded the stars to a 5 star rating. On the right and left front of the hood is a feature where you can wave your hand like “wax on, wax off” to turn on or turn off the fan and light.
