Really powerful fan! It has the option of a cool mist that's great for dry air. You can use it separate from the fan as well. It also has a cooling function. You put water in the base and add the ice packs that are included to make the fan blow cooler air. It's not nearly as cool as an air conditioner but it's better than hot dry air blowing when it's too warm out. It comes with 4 ice packs so you can use two and have two in the freezer to switch out. The fan looks really nice and doesn't take up a large footprint. It has given me the ability to put off using the air conditioner a bit. This is a great little fan. It’s a little smaller than I expected but perfect for an end table. It provides a cool mist, but more importantly it can double as a humidifier in winter. I ordered this outdoor misting fan from tried and true. It is really big and the airflow is nice. It's really heavy so it has to be mounted in something sturdy. The water tank is also a good size. I purchased this item approximately a month ago. My primary reason for purchase was to provide cooling while riding my bicycle. The clip allows me to attach the fan to the handlebar without any difficulty. But, I must say, I absolutely love it and find myself using it all the time; not just cycling. This fan is awesome. I mounted it on our patio using a TV mount arm to make it adjustable. The low mode is more than enough, but the highest speed is pretty impressive for a relatively small fan. It is a little loud on the highest speed, but you really don't need to use that unless you're really trying to push air. We'll probably only use it when we aim the fan out on the patio extension.
