Unit is defective from manufacturer. Contractor installed and the hood will not raise up. I know electrical controls pretty well and after doing some troubleshooting the button to raise the hood gets no power from the board and the fuse is in good condition. Hope it gets fixed quickly.. Infinitely adjustable speed control is flush with the side of the unit; inconspicuous, yet easy to reach and simple to use. The blower discharges right, left, or down and slides side-to-side to ease installation (insufficient space for built-in ovens). The front access panel allows easy cleaning.

The product arrived late due to "weather" however there was no weather issues along the route. Once it arrived the package was severely damaged. There were loose screws floating around and the styrofoam used to support hood was busted and no longer protecting the unit. We have not installed the unit yet to see if it functions but there were minor metal pieces bent. The pieces bent looking salvageable so hopefully it works once installed.
