So far I’m very happy with the washer. Sometimes I think the rinse cycle doesn’t get all the soap out. In hindsight, I wish I had purchased a unit that would allow me to open the other way, ie hinge on the left.. Kobesmom. Indialantic, FL. Sat Aug 15 2026

What drives this LG top load washer? The LG Direct Drive Motor delivers more power, quiet operation and greater efficiency than belt-driven motors—no belts, no pulleys, no worries. TurboDrum and 6Motion technologies provide a complete but gentler clean so clothes are always well-cared-for. And with ultra large capacity, you can fit more in every load to power through laundry day in less time.

This is my 1st impeller washer. I like not having to work around an agitator. Easy to load ,simple to use and doesn't take tooo long to cycle. I don't like not having the water run in with the door open, I use that for many things. Time will tell if get used to it. Seams to do a good job on clothes.. Mad Dog. Thu Sep 17 2026

LG took everything you love about the traditional top load agitator washer and kicked it up a notch. With enhanced cleaning and conveniences that simplify laundry day. The agitator's 4-way wash action combines with exclusive LG turbo drum Technology to give clothes an enhanced but gentler clean. Who says you can't improve on a classic.

I used this upon delivery and installation. It's large enough to hold a good sized load of clothes. It was easy to operate, and I loved the bell chimes it gave when the cycle was complete. This purchase was a reall winner.. Vivian. Richardson, TX. Thu Jun 11 2026

Does a very good job, clothes have never smelled as clean as they do now. Also seems to be very efficient, doesn’t use a lot of water on smaller loads but has a deep wash feature that fills tub all the way up.. Zachary. Virginia. Wed Jul 01 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great and very quiet! So far I am happy with the performance.. Meis. Boston, MA. Sat Aug 29 2026

The washer 5.0 cu. ft. model is a large-capacity washer designed to clean large loads with ease. The washer is also a soil-level washer. With LG ezDispense automatic Dispenser technology, you can fill up the reservoirs once and do multiple wash cycles without refilling your detergent. Not only does ezDispense take the guesswork out of reloading your washing machine, but this soil-level washer also adds just the right amount of detergent depending on your load size. Stop worrying about how much and how long you need to set for each load of laundry. The LG 5.0 front-load washing machine makes laundry foolproof and alerts you when it’s time to refill right on your smartphone.

I wanted a bigger capacity washer, but in the same or smaller footprint, and this delivers! It's 5 cubic feet and I can now wash my large towels and my sheets at the same time! The machine is quiet, has a very quiet drainage, spin, and vibration, and is just overall quiet! I also love the jingle when it has completed the cycle! So far it's been outstanding!. Dale10. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a family member of an LG employee and I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions expressed in this post are personal and should not be attributed to LG So yes, I got this product as a gift through my son but everything I'm saying is completely honest. This is the most elegant laundry machine I have ever seen and it feels like you can put an endless amount of clothes in the washer before it's full. I'm still learning all the washer settings but so far it's been pretty easy to learn. The touchscreen makes it very easy to use. When it's running it's really quiet when you consider how much it's washing. I tried the fast wash mode the other day and it was done in 30 minutes. It's a really complete and luxorious washing machine... And I never thought I would say the word luxorious when talking about a washing machine. I also never thought I would invite guests into the laundry room to show off my washing machine but I'm doing that now too... :). Roseg6. Katonah Ny. Wed Mar 18 2026
