I was on my last nerve with my 14 year old clothes washer that was slowly breaking down and sometimes ruining my clothes. I found a new Hotpoint washer at a good price with all the options I wanted. This is a great little washer. The process is tedious having to start and manually switch between steps but the spin dryer is great. You can tell it gets most of the water out by how light the clothes come out of the spin dryer. Even with the summer humidity, everything has finished air drying overnight - not something that was guaranteed with my full sized washer. It holds more laundry than I expected. So far each load has been just enough to fit on my drying rack. I think it'll fit the queen sized sheets but not the quilt or comforter. Like other reviewers, I've been using my detachable showerhead to fill the washing tub so I can't say if the provided tubing works. The built in lint trap has not been trapping lint so I've used a mesh drain catcher and that's been working fine. This is a great compact washer for a single person or couple that doesn’t have a lot of laundry. It will easily wash several pairs of shorts and t shirts or a couple of pairs of jeans and long sleeve shirts or sweatshirts. The drum is a decent size, tall but not deep. The drum is stainless steel and there are plenty of wash options. There is only one compartment for detergent which is the reason for 4 stars. No extras or bells and whistles but will get the job done and clothes clean and smelling good! This is a very nice washer, small and compact so great for small spaces. It’s a front loader that has. A Kids setting, which is neat. You can also clean the drum has a setting for your underwear. This one does not have a place to put your fabric softener your pre-wash stuff in so you will have to make sure you go back when it’s time to rinse and put your fabric softener in.
