Wanted to upgrade our over the stove microwave and found this LG one. I love the slide out vent option. It really does get rid of steam and oil smoke from the front burners. It will help when we change to a gas range and oven. Other reviews stated issues with the side out function. I see no issues with the durability. Just don’t lean on it or put things on it. Power is amazing and food cooks quickly and evenly. Some others disliked that the screen goes blank until you open the door. I don’t notice this as an issue. You have to open the door to put your food in first. The only time it requires opening is to use the timer function. We are very impressed with the look, features, quality and price. It’s a little more expensive rhan other models but only a few have the expended vent features. Purchased direct from LG.. Twonky. North Carolina. Thu Apr 23 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased with its features and ease of operating. Size is perfect for my small kitchen.. Btorbt. Wed Sep 09 2026

We've had the unit approximately for 2 months. The look of the unit is easy on the eyes, and we have not experienced a single problem or complaint on its operation. Three minor suggestions, if anybody is listening. 1) The buttons need a more positive tactile feel to them. 2) The door needs a hand hold with a function to control the latch to avoid the banging of the door every time it is closed. 3) The audio annunciation (push button, mode, cycle complete, etc.) needs to be louder, maybe some form of volume adjustment. I would buy it again (I hope not to have to) and would recommend it to family and friends.. M In Fresno. Fresno, CA. Mon Apr 27 2026

I unboxed this and it seemed a little bit big for the space that I wanted to use it in so I ended up returning it. It does look like a great microwave, however.. Anonymous. Thu Sep 24 2026

Made this purchase after getting another LG microwave. The intelligence in helping to accurately thaw and cook items is amazing. But the big reason I bought another LG is the pleasant tones signaling the final countdown and end of cooking. Others are beyond irritating. LG’s beeper is actually soothing. For performance and enjoyment it’s going to be LG for me.. Bluegrassbob. Bowling Green, Kentucky. Thu Feb 05 2026

Like the size. I use it for reheating, cooking frozen Vegas, and making small portions. Saw no reason for the larger one. Wish the light were brighter. Helen. Wake Forest, NC. Sat Aug 01 2026

Microwave works great, is very compact.Only issue is that when you have the light on for the stove top that the glass rotation base inside gets hot.. Benjamin. Tue Aug 11 2026
