I had a ge microwave already. This was basically the newest version. Be careful. The mount bracket is a little different and the top screws are in a different spot. It came with nice paper templates that showed you exactly where to mount and drill. Me and a friend installed it in 45 minutes. Works great. No fluff solid ge appliance. I’m happy. James. I've had my new microwave for three weeks. So far I love it. Easy to use. Food is heated as I needed. Used the potato button yesterday and it was great. This is my second GE microwave. My first just died one day after 14 years. My appliance company recommended this model and it was on sale, so even better. I recommend dealing with a local appliance store as they kept records my previous purchases and knew what would fit in my kitchen. Their prices were better than the big box stores. Four stars instead of five because the keypad does not have a light making it nearly impossible to see which key is which. As for working, I have no problem with it. We bought this new microwave to replace our old GE microwave that looks literally identical to this one that weve had for the past 12 years or so. Having said that, these are built to last and what I really like about this one is that its much quieter than our old one and the display is much brighter as well, with bigger numbers it seems.
