Although my repairman told me not to order a Samsung refrigerator, I did anyway because I liked the product. I purchased an extended warranty. After speaking to several people who have owned Samsung products, I was assured that they have all had great experiences with this company. I love the beverage center and two size options for ice. I love this counter depth refrigerator. We received it a few weeks later than originally scheduled, but it was better than not getting it at all. Thanks goodness for Wayfair! I couldn’t order it anywhere without waiting over 5 to 6 months. The inside drawer within the freezer drawer had a small piece broken. But I was able to send a video to the tech and the part was ordered and received. I love the fact that you don’t see fingerprints. This refrigerator replaced a 22 year old Artica GE Side by Side. I had kept the Artica going for all these years, but got tired of the defrost heater burning out what I consider to be too often? I purchased OEM one's, but the last one lasted about 14 months and it was a GE one. Don't know why they don't last any better? Anyway said goodbye to the old girl that served us pretty well for those 22 years. The ice maker had failed and had developed an internal leak I could not find and fix, so we lived without that for several of it's last years. Now, this new one is HUGE at 28.3 The old one was about 25 cu. ft. Actually, I hated the dark tunnel of the Artica Side by Side. Could not find things back in there! This new one is great from that standpoint with the lighted back panel, you can see everything in there. Like the convertible part and the drawers in the freezer section. I've read that the ice makers in GE refrigerators are troublesome compared to other brands? I hope it is trouble free, but all of that is unknown just after purchase and setup. The old Artica was built like a tank. The shelving was sturdy. This new one has shelving and door trays that are a bit less robust. I hope they stand up as well as the old Profile Artica? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE Profile French door refrigerator is a dream. The fridge section is large and spacious with several shelves and two drawer compartments. It had a middle drawer that is temperature adjustable and the freezer is spacious also. The ice machine and water dispenser are perfect. The kitchen assistant feature is an added bonus on top of a superb unit. I can see how much life is left in my water filter. You can hook it up to your WiFi and with the app you can scan foods you are out of for simple grocery shopping as well as add to the list. It's a pretty fridge, but the ERR code won't go away after I replaced the H2O filter. I used a GE specific filter as suggested, tried shutting off power, reinstalled filter 3 x's. At one point, I thought I had one the battle but as soon as I reinstalled the condiment shelf, the ERR came back!!! Right now, I HATE MY 6 MONTH OLD FRIDGE! Help.... Caitev. NJ. Sat Apr 25 2026
