This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. It’s very easy to use, just pour water in, plug it in and about 9 cubes every 6 minutes as it states is true. I’m very pleased and I would whole-heartedly recommend this product fully.. Dean. Nice size for my small laundry room. I like the color and size. The temperature is perfect in that it freezes but doesn’t over freezes. I haven’t had to thaw yet but I see that it has a water plug to conveniently run water out when thawing. The temperature dial on bottom is nice so that if kids play with adjustments I am able to see change but I chose to cover with a piece of tape so that they aren’t able to operate dial easily.. This is a wonderful ice maker. Its perfect for the ice eaters our here. Im not sure how quickly it makes ice because Ive filled large tumblers with ice and have never run out. Nothing gets a perfect review from me I guess, the only thing I do not like is that if the machine is placed between two small appliances. The water level is unable to be seen.
