We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. When lit, the warm brown weave creates a neat little pattern across the ceiling. As some have mentioned, you will need to be directly under the fan to feel it but it does move air surprisingly well. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room. The light portion and the fan blades were very easy to install. The instructions are clear and it comes with extra hardware which is always so helpful. My favorite things about it are the fact that the wood grain sort of lines up on the fan blades and the hardware is really nice even though it's not showing. This is a high quality fan light with good features. The light is adjustable in both brightness and warm/cool so I can set it exactly how I like it. Love that feature. It looks really beautiful in my bedroom. The fan puts off a very nice breeze and is very quiet. The downsides: my old traditional ceiling fan had separate switches for the fan and the light, and this fan doesn't work with the second separate fan switch. Also if you turn it off using the wall switch, it preserves the last light setting but not the fan setting, so you would have to turn the fan back on with the remote any time you use the switch. Shout out to the manufacturer and to wayfair. There was an issue with my order missing some of the screws. They resolved my issue quickly and hassle-free. I really appreciate it.. Diana. Beautiful farmhouse ceiling fan with light. Love the black and wood look accents for this fanlight. You do need to purchase your own bulbs. My guest are going to love the new addition to the room. This ceiling fan looks beautiful over the bed in our beach house. It is unique in the way that the rattan is in lines and is also done in a double layer like light. It has a ceiling fan that is attached to top of it and you use remote control to open the fan up and to close it. When it’s closed it just sits folded up at top. When you want to use it you push button and speed and it circulates and the blades unfold and open as it picks up speed. It looks amazing. Again. Very unique. Still looks coastal but also a more modern version of the coastal look as opposed to the older leaf like blades that have been around forever. The color is light and neutral so it goes with many things. You can put different types of bulbs in it as well as different shades of color. It went up easily and it seems to be made very well.
