It’s a great hood. It’s attractive and suits my new kitchen. It does what I want it to do, which is to take cooking odors out of the house. My workers will finish the installation next week. My only concern is that it is a bit too loud. Update: Yes, it is very loud. We joke about take off and landing. Because we have an open floorpan we eat near our cooking area and we need to turn off the fan before any conversation can take place. One of the lights burned out very quickly. I think it's unfortunately a question of how the makers of these items make them, but I wanted to be able to place it higher above our heads to avoid getting our head bumped into it... so we have to be careful, but then the guys who installed it (they were 4 people and it took 4h) said all the recent models are all the same now.. So far SO good - haven't installed yet but once I do I will update. Did want to add delivery was timely and all came in perfect condition.
