So far SO good - haven't installed yet but once I do I will update. Did want to add delivery was timely and all came in perfect condition. Also, once I opened the box I couldn't believe how solid, sturdy and heavy this was. DEF QUALITY materials for stability, that was CLEAR to me. 47 lbs during delivery, shocked me.. Manos. Dallas, TX. Was very easy to install if you have any mechanical ability, I did it myself. The only problem I had it is came with a small dent and I didn't catch it till I took the plastic protective covering off the shroud. According to the instructions, you have to catch any problems before install. Them are the last things to go on. I inspected them with the protective covering on them and could not see the dent. It’s a great hood. It’s attractive and suits my new kitchen. It does what I want it to do, which is to take cooking odors out of the house. My workers will finish the installation next week. My only concern is that it is a bit too loud. Update: Yes, it is very loud. We joke about take off and landing. Because we have an open floorpan we eat near our cooking area and we need to turn off the fan before any conversation can take place. One of the lights burned out very quickly. I think it's unfortunately a question of how the makers of these items make them, but I wanted to be able to place it higher above our heads to avoid getting our head bumped into it... so we have to be careful, but then the guys who installed it (they were 4 people and it took 4h) said all the recent models are all the same now..
