It was perfect for my island range. The only detail that should be noted is the the covers are welded solid and can not be separated to slip on at the end. This makes the assembly a little more complicated for balance and holding for the final mounting and you have to use both parts so that they can be installed which makes it hang about 2 inches lower.. The stainless steel finish gives it such a nice modern look and instantly makes my kitchen feel more like a space where I actually enjoy cooking. I love that it comes with both touch controls and a remote. The LED lighting is another feature I'm really happy about because I like having good lighting over my stove when I'm cooking. It even came with extra items like gloves and kitchen towels, which was a nice surprise. One thing I'm most excited about is the powerful suction. I also appreciate that the baffle filters are removable and dishwasher-safe. Anything that makes cleaning easier is a huge bonus for me.
