I replaced my over the range hood to stainless steel. It really makes the kitchen look better and pulls everything together. It was easy to install. Scan the Qr code to watch the installation video. Hood fan review Installation was easy but you need small hands to screw in the hood around the fan. The noise of the fan is not as quiet as I thought it was going to be but it will be fine. Very nice Range Hood! Really good quality. The fan isn’t too loud and the light is VERY bright, but can also be dimmed. It also comes with a remote which is a nice convenience to have. This is such a nice range hood. I love the sleek, upscale design. It has all the bells and whistles. It has a touch panel, a remote, timer, and LED lights. The fan has 4 speeds, and although it’s not loud, it’s also not quiet. I had mine professionally installed. Per the installer, it wasn’t difficult to install. Well I have it out of the box the reason for this purchase was I have tall ceilings and I needed a exhaust fan that I didn’t have to figure out how to get additional pieces or have to build down from the ceiling to close the gap. This fan assembly fit that bill it’s also a rental property and so I didn’t want a glass unit even though I have one like that and like it a lot this unit is more “renter friendly” and safe no ones going to break it.. Well this is a great product but putting it together was a lot! The instructions were hidden along with the screws necessary for installation. This is exactly the hood range that I was looking for. I needed one that did not need to be ducted outside so it needed to be recirculating, and I had a hard time finding one in black and in the size that I needed which was 30 inches. Luckily Wayfair had exactly what I needed. Unfortunately I have to wait a few weeks before the electrician could come in to do the work but I wanted to get the review posted. I haven't installed this range hood yet, but my first impression is outstanding. It looks sleek, modern, and very elegant. Easy to install and looks good in the space. I’m most impressed with the fan noise, at max speed it sounds like a table fan or similar to white noise and not like a steam engine like most range hoods. This was delivered super fast. It was packaged well. It was what we were looking for, and now that I’ve got it installed and used it a few times, I can say it works so well, and I love it. I knocked a star off because there are some frustrating (welding) stains on the stainless steel, and I got cut on a piece of sharp metal that was sticking out of it. Other than that, it’s a dream, and for the price, I don’t think we could have gotten even close with another option. I am very happy with this hood. The quality of build seems solid, installation instructions were very clear, and it I think it looks great. It takes some planning and work to get it installed. You have to make sure your ceiling joists and ductwork is going the right direction or be prepared to do some modifications. I have a soffit and had to take down a bunch of drywall to modify the framing, run the 14/3 romex for the light/fan and modify the ducting. Then I replaced the drywall, taped, texture, paint and installed the hood. Fortunately it all came together nicely. I was able to held the hood in place while my wife drive the screws into the framing. I think it will be worth it in the end because the hood won’t be blocking the view in front of our cooktop..
