Just like the matching washer, I bought it for an upstairs laundry closet area where a normal size stacked washer and dryer just would not fit in my home. We are running the water lines next week and I honestly cant wait to get everything installed upstairs, but for now I’ve been trying it out in the basement and have been really impressed with it so far. One thing I had to learn at first is that heat pump dryers work differently than a traditional dryer. I was expecting clothes to come out feeling really hot, so at first I thought something was wrong, but once I read about how they work it made a lot more sense. It’s more energy efficient and much gentler on your clothes, which I really appreciate. The 40 minute quick cycle has been great for smaller loads, and I also love that you can set it to keep tumbling to help prevent wrinkles if you don’t unload it right away. The drum light is also a great feature and makes it much easier to see everything inside. Another thing I really like is the lint filter design. It has a nice double filter setup with very fine mesh that does a great job catching lint. I also love that this is ventless, because that opens up so many more options for where you can put it. It’s wonderful for spaces where you normally couldn’t install a dryer, and I also like that you can optionally hook it up to drain automatically instead of having to empty the water container. Another nice bonus is that it’s WiFi connected. I wouldn’t say that’s something I absolutely need, but it is really nice to have. I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. We purchased the dryer and washer together and both have been great so far. I am only planning on speaking to the dryer though. First the positives, - The dryer uses heat pump tech, meaning no ventilation needed, which was a huge bonus for us. - It is noticeably gentler on clothes. - Dries clothes and comforters completely in a single cycle, without needing to rotate them. - It is very quiet, very different from what I've had in the past. - Lint trap is very easy to clean - With the app, it has a decent amount of features and customizations. - Looks very modern. Now the negatives, - Scatches easily. It already got a small scratch that happened during the install process. For the price, I'd expect better durability. - It take on average twice as long to dry clothes due to this being a ventless dryer. This washing machine is very easy to operate via its touch control panel. Heavy, Soft, Normal, Rapid and Soak programs, you are allowed to quickly start the machine as you need. You can customize washing program by selecting load size, adding additional wash time, rinse time and spin time as well.

Smaller than I expected but it gets the job done we have 7 people in our house which produces about 16.5 pounds of laundry weekly gets the job done in 1 and a half loads. Many people have reported flooding from this product but it is because they lave the faucet on full water leaving it alone but the machine has a valve inside that accepts water at times when need which you just turn on the faucet. The machine is able to dry the clothes about 95 which is about the same my local laundromat dries. this is way more cost effective than having to pay 7.70 per machine which we use two of at the laundromat. when it is done i just hang it up which dries in one day.
