Nice unit. Relatively easy to install with 2 people. 1st unit damaged and refunded. 2nd unit better but still some hidden cosmetic damage to the hood. Hood could be thicker metal to prevent this, and QC needs better eyes out the door. Wayfair refused to refund or replace after 30 days due to delays unpacking and noticing dents from screw installation. Manufacturer honored the replacement so pleased with StreamLine.. Tim. I am so excited about this range hood! As soon as I unboxed it, I could tell it was going to look amazing in my kitchen. The stainless steel finish gives it such a nice modern look and instantly makes my kitchen feel more like a space where I actually enjoy cooking. I love that it comes with both touch controls and a remote. The LED lighting is another feature I'm really happy about because I like having good lighting over my stove when I'm cooking. It even came with extra items like gloves and kitchen towels, which was a nice surprise. One thing I'm most excited about is the powerful suction. Whenever I fry food or cook something with strong smells, my kitchen gets smoky and I usually end up opening windows or cracking the door to air everything out. I'm really looking forward to not having to do that anymore! Knowing this range hood is designed to pull out smoke, steam, grease, and cooking odors gives me peace of mind. I also appreciate that the baffle filters are removable and dishwasher-safe. Anything that makes cleaning easier is a huge bonus for me. I haven't installed it yet because I'm still waiting on my brother to help with the installation, but I honestly can't wait to get it up and running. Once it's installed, I'll definitely come back and update my review with pictures and share how it's working in my kitchen. So far, I'm very impressed with the quality, design, and thoughtful extras that came with it. I'm already looking forward to cooking without worrying about smoke, grease, and lingering food smells taking over my home. Thank you, Wayfair!. Anonymous. Middletown, NY. Sun Sep 27 2026

It arrived quite quickly, protected by plastic wrap and white foam. Installation was a bit tricky—we had a very basic, older-style hood before—but this new one has incredible suction power. We are currently in the process of adding the ductwork to vent it outside. This hood is an excellent choice; it makes the kitchen look beautiful—I can't believe what a difference this change has made. I’m very happy with my new hood. It even came with towels and heat-resistant gloves, which was a nice surprise, even though I had seen them mentioned in the listing. It includes a paper template to show where to place the screws. So far so good. Install was relatively easy, but because of its size, having a few extra folks to help hold it in place would be a good idea. My wife and I managed, but it was a bit tricky for just us 2 folks to install and we almost gave up. The gesture control seems a bit finicky, and we can't get it to work reliably. Maybe with time we'll figure it out. The buttons work fine though, and the remote control is a nice touch. The stainless-steel finish, display, and led lights look great. Definitely an upgrade from the Broan powerpack it replaced. As far as noise, it seems to be as loud as our old Broan PM350 we replaced. The grates tend to vibrate a little, so that with the fan contributes to the noise. I was hoping for something quieter, but it's no worse than the unit it replaced, so not a deal breaker. As for airflow, it seems a bit stronger than the broan unit it replaced, which was rate for only 350cfm. This one is rated at 900cfm at max speed, but i don't have a way to measure/confirm that. The fan cage seems bigger, and it's been doing a good job so far of keeping the smells/vapors out of the kitchen while cooking. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far, we've been impressed with the build quality. Added the extra warranty just in case.. Tejesh. US. Sat Nov 30 2024

Very impressive range hood for our mini kitchen remodel. We just had this installed by an electrician friend - took him about 2 hours, but that’s because our old one was not a plug in and he had to drill a couple holes in our cabinet. The fan works great and the lights are nice and bright. The fan is a tad loud but I don’t mind because it works so much better than our old one. It’s heavy, make sure you have someone helping to hold it up. Great look in our kitchen - now to add a backsplash!. Erin. Vero Beach, FL. Fri Jul 31 2026

Persistent cooking odors and grease accumulation require effective ventilation that this 27.75-inch range hood provides through 600 CFM extraction capacity. The ducted insert range hood operates as an under-cabinet system which uses existing ductwork to exhaust cooking fumes outside the building. The construction uses stainless steel panels and housing components which provide both corrosion protection and long-lasting strength for kitchen environments in residential buildings. The 27.75-inch width design supports both small cooktop setups and narrow cabinet designs while delivering excellent airflow capacity. The three-speed fan control system enables users to select from three different ventilation settings which match their current cooking needs and smoke production level. The system enables users to operate devices through either push-button controls or dial controls which do not require digital displays or complicated programming methods. The stainless steel baffle filters capture grease particles and airborne contaminants from exhaust air which enables easy maintenance through dishwasher-safe construction. The baffle design enables effective grease collection while it ensures sufficient airflow through the entire filtration system. The dual LED light fixtures produce bright light which directs onto the cooktop surface to enhance visibility during food preparation and cooking activities. LED technology uses less electricity compared to traditional incandescent bulbs while delivering a longer operational life span. The ETL compliance certification shows that products meet the electrical safety regulations which both the United States and Canada recognize. The installation process needs both a dedicated electrical circuit and existing ductwork, which must match the required diameter to operate at 600 CFM.
